Here is a
little info on our pricing and qualifying for the
Retirement Resident
(Pensionado) visa program!
You must:
-
Be in good health and free
of AIDS (blood test at a local lab costs $25 and doctors exam is $10).
-
Have an up-to-date passport
from your country of residence.
-
Have a verifiable minimum
monthly retirement income or pension of $500 from a government or private
company fund. For dependents (such as a spouse or children), you must show
an additional $100 of income per month for each.
If you do not meet the monthly pension requirement, you can instead deposit
$100,000 (this can be a CD) in the National Bank of Panama. The interest
from this account is proof to the government that you will be guaranteed a
steady monthly income. You will have no problem withdrawing these funds
should you decide to leave the country permanently.
-
Be 62 years or older if you
are a man, or 57 years or older if you are a woman.
Have a clear police record for the past five years.
-
Once you qualify, you get
significant discounts on just about everything in Panama, from doctor's
visits to transportation, restaurant tabs to utility bills.
-
Our pricing for processing one individual for this service is $1,200. For a Married couple it would be $1,600. This includes everything even your multiple entry visas. Most companies offering this service will quote you a lower price but will not tell you all the hidden fees. If you purchase a property through one of our realtors we'll give you a discount on this service or others we offer. We average 15 working days or less to complete this service for our clients who have all of their required paperwork. We have not found another company at the moment completing this service in twice that amount of time. Most will tell you from 5-12 weeks minimum. If you do not have your paperwork and are still interested in finding out if we can help you with any immigration status then please contact us at info@panamamls.com
